A vulnerability has been identified in TWiki, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions. This issue is due to an error when handling failed login attempts and 401 HTTP responses redirecting to certain topics (e.g. TWikiRegistration), which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass the authentication process and gain unauthorized read access to restricted contents.
Note : Only applications running on Apache 1.3.x web servers and using ApacheLogin and sessions, or SessionPlugin are affected.
